Frequently Asked Questions About Honey
Answers to our customers' most common questions
01.Is your honey 100% natural?
Absolutely YES. Our honey is produced exclusively by our own bees. We don't add sugar. It's exactly how the bees brought it from nature into the jar. We stand behind every kilogram with our name and the reputation we've built over the years.
02.How can I recognize real honey?
Crystallization is a natural process and is often a good sign that honey is genuine. Most real honey will crystallize over time, but the speed depends on the type of honey and how it's stored. Acacia honey crystallizes slowly (sometimes up to a year), while meadow or sunflower honey can crystallize in just a few weeks. If a honey that typically crystallizes stays perfectly clear and runny for a very long time, it may have been heavily processed or could be adulterated. The most reliable confirmation of authenticity is laboratory testing and buying from a trusted beekeeper.
03.Do you deliver in Belgrade?
Yes! You can find us at the Block 44 market, and we also offer personal delivery (Saturdays near the Sava Center).
04.How should honey, pollen, and royal jelly be stored?
Honey is stored at room temperature in a dark place (away from sunlight). It doesn't need to be refrigerated. However, POLLEN and ROYAL JELLY are more sensitive: raw pollen should be kept in the freezer, while dried pollen (the type we sell) can be stored in the refrigerator or in a sealed jar in a cool, dry place. Propolis drops have a shelf life of 2–3 years and are stored at room temperature.
